Hallux Valgus:

Dislocation of the large toe (Hallux) to the outside. The big toe turns inwards and a curvature becomes visible. There is pain, swelling, and redness on the big toe joint.

Causes:

A hallux valgus may be due to connective tissue weakness or a genetic background. The misalignment is increased by too high or too narrow shoes, Frequent standing, overweight and rheumatism.
